Ibex Motor Policies reinvents itself

Lloyd's syndicate Ibex Motor Policies, the personal lines and fleet division of Chaucer, has changed its name to Chaucer Insurance and has moved its 220 staff to purpose-built offices in Whitstable.
Chaucer Insurance now has the opportunity to integrate its claims, underwriting and broker support teams. At present, motor policies make up 85% of the company's business, but it intends to move into new areas of personal lines business. The company sells policies almost exclusively through
