Folgate Masterplan members can access enhanced commissions and competitive rates through the new private motor panel acceler8.

The panel, chosen following feedback at members' focus groups, includes Allianz Cornhill, Equity Red Star, Fortis Insurance, Link, MMA, Norwich Union, Provident and Zurich.

Members that wish to join acceler8 must place all their EDI business with the panel. acceler8 will also be made available later to Sirius users that are not Folgate Masterplan members.

Chris Moseley, director of Folgate Masterplan, said: "acceler8 will streamline brokers' administration and we believe this could increase a typical broker's margin by 15% or more."

Folgate Masterplan has 300 members, 50 of which have joined acceler8.

It plans to sign up 100 members by the end of the year. The Folgate Partnership owns the Folgate Masterplan Network and Folgate Insurance Company, which has been converted into the Folgate Underwriting Agency. It currently controls more than £250m premium.
