Bruce Stevenson focuses on Britain’s £2bn B&B industry with new product

Bruce Stevenson turned its attention to what it described as Britain’s £2bn bed-and-breakfast (B&B) industry by unveiling a dedicated insurance policy for the sector.

The broker said Staysafe covers B&Bs and small guest houses and had been specifically designed for smaller establishments with six bedrooms or fewer to let. Bruce Stevenson noted accidental damage is included as standard on the policy along with liability for employees of up to £10m, up to £2m for guests and up to £40,000 for their effects.

The product not only covers B&Bs but also their owners, according to the broker, who receive personal accident cover for £100 a week as standard. In addition
