Investec enters premium finance space

Money

Investec Premium Finance focuses on providing funding for commercial insurance policies and accommodating personal lines, all offered via regulated insurance brokers.

According to Investec, Investec Premium Finance is designed to provide a straightforward digital approach with quick decisions, making it easier for brokers to process and manage applications on behalf of their clients.

Investec broker manager, Michael Braithwaite said: “We are very excited to be launching Investec Premium Finance, which will give our brokers the best of both worlds: a quick, online application with a dedicated relationship manager on hand when extra support is needed.”

Investec works with more than 15,000 intermediaries through its asset finance products. So, while the application process will be fully online, relationship managers will be available for personal support.

Investec stated that it has created IPF to aid brokers and clients when managing their premiums.

Braithwaite commented: “Investec has real experience in this area, having built up an award-winning asset finance business, as we are proud to be providing this new product to help companies spread the cost of their annual insurance premiums.”

The product will be available from May 2022
