Aviva launches £100m tech investment arm
Aviva Ventures is set to invest £20m per year for five years in digital insurance technologies.
Aviva has launched Aviva Ventures, a venture capital business, which has committed to investing up to £20m per year for five years in a range of digital and new technology businesses.
The insurer said that Aviva Ventures will target investments in digital and technology companies operating in four areas:
'the internet of things', for example in connected homes, health and cars; data and analytics; innovative customer experiences; distribution, for example new 'sharing economy' platforms.The
