Health news: Rockbridge deal underlines CBG's healthcare focus
CBG Group has acquired Rockbridge Healthcare as part of its growth strategy in the healthcare sector.
The acquisition is the company's first since 2008, following two years of internal consolidation and restructure.
Rockbridge, which provides healthcare insurance for both corporate and individual clients, will be integrated into CBG's financial services division.
Further to the initial undisclosed fee, an additional payment will be made if specified targets are met over the coming year. The existing directors of Rockbridge will also remain within the business during a handover period.
