Fortis UK has introduced Semploy Extra following a review of its existing Semploy offering - a liability-based product for the self-employed.

Under Semploy Extra, the number of trades available for quotation has been increased from 89 to almost 500.

Adam Clarke, underwriting director, said: "Semploy Extra provides brokers with the ability to cater for more needs within just one product, with additional trades and optional covers enabling customers to tailor the level of insurance cover that is right for them."
