LV says it "will do its utmost" to help customers affected by the volcano
Insurer LV has issued guidance over disruption caused by the eruption of icelandic volcano Eyjafjallajökull.
In a statment, LV offered the following advice to its customers:
"Customers who are yet to fly and have booked a holiday via a travel agent should contact their travel agent first to discuss their options. Their travel agent is responsible for offering alternative options."
"Customers who have booked flights directly should contact their airline to discuss what options are open to them."
"Customers who are already abroad and are unable to fly back should also speak to their tour operator or
