A bumper crop of judgements.

It seems there is bad news for LEAs after the House of Lords delivered a disturbing verdict in Phelps v Hillingdon BC. On another note, accidental tourists may find a recent EU directive rather helpful.

The summer holidays give most of us the chance to slow down, catch up
and perhaps even relax. So when schools and the courts closed their doors
for the summer break, there were no doubt some collective sighs of relief
from the teaching and legal professions.


However, just before their own holidays at the end of July, the Law Lords
busily delivered a bumper crop of judgements, two of which might make
summer a little less relaxing for the legal and education professions.

Ageas UK GWP jumps as Esure deal flows in
