Acturis launched the Acturis Broker Platform in 2002 following nearly two years of design and consultation with its broker partners, Bland Bankart and Smart & Cook. The system is targeted especially at brokers with a commercial business bias, schemes specialists and networks.

The Acturis Broker Platform is a cutting-edge front- and back-office broking system, which has been fully live for more two years. Built for the needs of brokers of tomorrow, it is designed to significantly improve broker efficiency, ease of compliance, service levels and broker-insurer interaction.

Acturis has grown considerably over the last 12 months, and the Acturis Broker Platform is now live with over 1200 users across more than 75 sites in the UK. A growing number of commercial insurers are now also integrated with the Acturis Broker Platform and these include Axa, Allianz Cornhill, Norwich Union and Fortis.

The growth and market feedback has been such that Acturis was recently nominated for Service Provider of the Year at the 2004 British Insurance Awards, the only company in its sector to receive such a nomination.
