While visiting Royal & SunAlliance's headquarters in EC3 recently to interview Duncan Boyle, a raft of forms had to be filled in before being let near the outgoing chief. The number of waivers, disclaimers and consent forms were so numerous and detailed, they gave PB's editor an insight into what it must be like to be regulated by the FSA. When reaching page 39 - the Care of Substances Hazardous to Health section - one began to wonder if one's cigarettes should be declared. Full personal liability for the behaviour of the photographer was also required before commencement of the interview. Thankfully, the 20-minute ordeal was made bearable, being conducted in the presence of RSA's charming corporate comms supremo Annette Spencer.

Away from the city, PB's roving reporter Andrew Tjaardstra (the name's Dutch, in case you were wondering) met up with Fenton Insurance Brokers. Roger Loveday, chairman of the firm - which has embarked on a staggered entry into the Folgate fold - enthused: "This partnership is very much like a marriage." To which Andy Homer quipped: "Yes, only we're not having sex!"
