A low cost household insurance policy for tenants of housingassociations and local authorities has been made available by Thomas
Winter Insurance Brokers. The contents policy has already been established
in Scotland and is now available to tenants in England and Wales. Tenants
over 60 years old can insure contents with a total value of £6000 and the
minimum sum for anyone below the age of 60 is £9000. Policyholders can pay
their premiums monthly at any post office or annually to receive a
discount
