The Smart and Cook Group has grown its subsidiary Smart and Cook(Scotland) by acquiring Lanarkshire broker Lewis Wotherspoon. The acquired
broker employs 17 members of staff, all of whom will eventually move to
the premises on Strathclyde Business Park. Paul Meehan, managing director
of Smart and Cook Group, said: "There are numerous acquisition
opportunities in our operating regions and we expect to close two further
deals this year."
