A 'golden rule' they teach you at journalism school about writing a comment piece is that you are supposed to write about industry issues that are effecting your readership and not about items that your magazine might be promoting. However, on this occasion, I hope you will forgive me if I combine the two and talk about the Insurance Age Broker Expo 2006 that is taking place on Thursday, 2 November at the National Motorcycle Museum in Birmingham.
