The number of brokers using Xbroker, the online quotation system from Moorhouse, increased by 27% in April. This followed a targeted marketing campaign by the broker highlighting the products available through the system and the strength of its overall proposition. In addition, Moorhouse said its broker account transfer facility - which places books of business through Xbroker - had attracted £750,000 of new business since its launch.
