Royal & Sun Alliance (RSA) is a "new and confident" business said Brendan McManus, commercial director, RSA, at a meeting of nearly 300 of its key brokers.

He made the announcement to 260 brokers over two days at an event in Blenheim Palace, Oxfordshire, assuring them that they were now looking at a company in 'very good health'.

"We are here today to sell a new, confident RSA so that you will have a clear understanding of our future direction. It has changed and it is good to do business with,"
