SBJ to come under VP umbrella

SBJ UK, the general insurance broking arm of SBJ, is to be integrated into Venture Preference (VP).

CEO Stuart Reid said: “Our businesses are already closely aligned in terms of how we trade and the markets we work within. This is therefore a great opportunity for us to work together to create an even stronger force in our industry.”

As part of the move, Howard Fryer, formerly ceo of SBJ UK, will be taking on a new role as one of the VP regional managing directors. He will sit on the trading board and will report to Graham Coates, md trading.
