Panellists and Scottish brokers clash over benefits of independence at Question Time event
Insurer rates, currency questions and market withdrawals among concerns
The issue about whether Scottish brokers would receive better rates in the event of a ‘yes' vote for independence caused a division amongst the panellists and attendees at the recent Question Time event in Glasgow.
The debate was triggered by Laurie Ross managing director June Lynch who asked whether the vote could be a "catalyst for more representative rates".
She added: "Surely there is an opportunity for Scottish brokers who know their good and bad customers to bring that knowledge to bear
