A new player has entered the high net worth sector with the launch of Debrett’s Prestige Insurance providing comprehensive buildings and contents cover “for discerning home owners”.

The self-styled modern authority on all matters of etiquette, social occasions, people of distinction and fine style, revealed that the premium home insurance offering was available to customers requiring contents cover of more than £75,000 or buildings cover of over £1m.

According to the company, it has hand picked expert advisers who will ensure that cover was tailored to the needs of the individual. It added that insurance could be arranged for valuable art, antiques and jewellery in addition
