A bad personal claims experience leads Nigel Dyer to question how some insurers achieve their loss ratios

Recently was the first time I’ve had to ‘play’ in the travel insurance arena and not a pleasant game it is either with, it seems to me, some new rules (not in the Chartered Insurance Institute’s syllabus) invented by travel players to avoid paying claims.
