Blanc hails “strong result” in “difficult environment”

Axa chief says she is “proud” of the performance and expects to see improvement in “under pressure” personal lines intermediary sector.

Axa UK CEO Amanda Blanc has said she is "proud" of the insurer's performance following the publication of its half year results for 2016.

The insurer reported a 7% revenue rise stating that it's GI and healthcare revenues were £2.2bn for the time period, compared to £2.1bn last year.
