Ex-Aviva employee sentenced for fraud
Customer manager in Scotland stole over £5,000.
A 35-year-old former Aviva employee has been sentenced to 160 hours of unpaid work after admitting to stealing £5,041 from the insurer in Perth where he was employed as a customer manager, the BBC has reported.
According to the article, Malcolm Gillies from Perth had taken the money between 2 November 2012 and 15 April 2013.
He was sacked by the insurer when the situation come to light after an anonymous tip-off.
