Gable rules out £10m Hogarth guarantee

Hogarth Underwriting Agencies will not provide the £10m regulatory capital for Gable as the CEO has advised it is “inappropriate”.

Gable Holdings CEO William Dewsall has informed the insurer that it is "inappropriate" for Hogarth Underwriting Agencies to provide the £10m guarantee for Gable's regulatory capital.

In a London Stock Exchange announcement Gable stated: "Further to its announcement of 25 May 2016, Gable Holdings announces that, following further consideration, William Dewsall notified the Company that it would be inappropriate for Hogarth Underwriting Agencies Limited, as a regulated entity authorised by the
