ITH launches terrorism travel cover
Brokers can access International Travel and Healthcare’s product through its back office platform.
International Travel and Healthcare (ITH), the travel insurance specialist, has launched Safe-Journey, which it described as the UK's first specific terrorism travel insurance policy.
Underwritten by Markel International Insurance Company Limited, ITF said that Safe-Journey will provide cover for travel delay, cancellation and disinclination to travel to destinations where an act of terrorism has taken place - benefits which are typically not offered by traditional travel insurance.
