Aviva joins Flood Re for direct business with homeowners

Insurer received over 2,000 claims during the recent floods.

Aviva will provide new home insurance quotes through its direct business for homeowners whose properties are at risk from flooding following the launch of Flood Re today.

The provider said many homeowners who live in high flood risk areas or have been previously been flooded will for the first time be able to shop around for cover.

Aviva added that its direct business will be able to provide new customer quotes inclusive of Flood Re prices from today and renewal quotes, generated 32 days in
