Sector hails Tulloch as "strong leader"

Experts say Aviva should look internally for new UKGI CEO.

Brokers complimented Maurice Tulloch's leadership abilities following the news that he would be moving his focus away from the UK general insurance CEO role at Aviva.

The brokers Insurance Age spoke to said he had been a strong leader and done a great job in his time as UK boss of the insurer.

Paul Anscombe, managing director of Seventeen Group, said: "He's done an excellent job getting the management team focused and leading Aviva through a difficult time.

"He's a strong leader and it's a shame
