Brokers without a digital strategy warned they will be “in trouble” at the Future of Broking Debate.

Brokers at the Future of Broking debate were told that if they have not got a digital strategy then they could face problems down the line.

Aston Scott's Peter Blanc warned the delegates: "If you are going to be around in ten years and don't have a digital strategy you will be in trouble."

Brokers were also told that brand, technology, and not seeking "nickels and dimes" are keys to success for the future of broking.

Broking profits fall at Saga

Underlying profit before tax in Saga’s insurance broking arm fell to £39.8m for the year ended 31 January 2024, compared with £71.5m in the previous period.
