Brokers “positive” on ERS Brentwood closure
Insurer says market has shown “enormous goodwill” following 161 staff exits under its transformation plan.
Motor insurer ERS has been holding roadshows for its brokers to explain how the closure of its Brentwood headquarters and loss of 161 staff will impact on the trading.
CEO Ian Parker told Post that broker reception to the changes had been "positive" and that intermediaries had shown "enormous goodwill" about the changes that see remaining staff relocated to London and Swansea.

Around 160 brokers, of the 1,500 ERS deals with, have attended the roadshows so Parker admitted that
