Aviva’s chief digital officer, Andrew Brem, calls on sector to develop more digital innovation to survive and succeed.
Andrew Brem, Aviva's chief digital officer, has called on the sector to "up our game" in terms of digital innovation in order to survive and succeed.
Brem pointed out that, when it comes to digital, customers do not measure brokers and insurers against their peers.
Instead they judge them against digital leaders such as Amazon and Uber.
"It is well acknowledged that this is the age of the digital disrupter - and that's as true in insurance as it is in any other industry," commented Brem.
