Covéa launches real estate product

Product is aimed at commercial property owners for blocks of flats or light industrial premises.

Covéa Insurance has launched a new product for commercial property owners in response to what it describes as a significant upturn in such business.

Speaking exclusively to Insurance Age, the insurer said it began trialling the Covéa Insurance Real Estate product in November with selected brokers and that it is now available to all of its partner brokers.

The policy is aimed at commercial property owners who own the likes of office buildings, a block of flats or light industrial premises.
