Commercial lines MD Foy leaves Aviva

Foy to quit insurer at end of 2014.

Ian Foy is to leave Aviva at the end of 2014 after less than a year in the role.

The insurer said that Foy has decided to leave and Angus Eaton, current general insurance chief risk officer, will take up the role of managing director of commercial lines with responsibility for both commercial lines and CSR in January 2015.

When Foy took up his post in January this year his role was defined as managing director of personal motor, home and specialist lines. He was previously group chief executive
