UK General Insurance refinances with Clydesdale Bank

Leeds-based insurer says deal will help it take advantage of growth opportunities.

UK General Insurance has signed a refinancing deal with Clydesdale Bank for an undisclosed sum.

Group chief executive, Peter Hubbard, said the deal signified that the insurer is in a strong financial position and that it would help it to take advantage of growth potential in its rural, commercial and schemes divisions.
