ABI confirms Aviva's Tulloch as chairman of general insurance council
Tulloch joins ABI board as part of his new role.
The Association of British Insurers (ABI) has confirmed Maurice Tulloch as the new chairman of its General Insurance Council Management Committee (GIC).
The ABI said Tulloch, CEO of UK and Ireland general insurance at Aviva, joined the GIC in 2013 and had played a leading role in the association's response to important industry issues.
Huw Evans, ABI director of policy and deputy director general, said: "I am very pleased that Maurice Tulloch has agreed to take on this important role."
