Watson ‘pleased’ with Ageas third quarter

The insurer is keen to grow business with brokers in commercial, schemes and e-trading.

Andy Watson, Ageas chief executive, said the third quarter had been strong for the insurer following poor weather in early 2014 impacting on results for the first six months.

He told Insurance Age: "We've had a very strong third quarter after the first quarter which was impacted by the weather in January."
