Phased closure for L&G Ipswich site
Legal & General to move claims to Birmingham and customer service to Hove offices.
Legal & General has begun a phased closure of its Ipswich office following a reorganisation of the business.
The insurer said that the outlined changes will take place in a staggered approach between now and end of May 2015, when the office will close.
It was announced earlier that the Suffolk office would close with the loss of 140 jobs at the location.
