A-Plan posts rises in turnover and profit

High-street broker claims pipeline for branch openings remains strong as total reaches 72.

A-Plan has delivered a 10% increase in turnover to £61.5m as well as a 12% rise in Ebitda to £22.7m in its latest annual results.

The figures for the year ended 28 February 2014 came as new business volume rose 13% and the broker highlighted that retention rates for "invited" policy renewals was running at 90%.

During the period the high-street orientated business, which offers motor, home, SME, travel and high net worth insurance, opened four new branches, taking the total to 72.
