UK General launches holiday home product
Policy to protect holidaymakers from unsatisfactory or non-existent homes is “first ever”.
UK General has launched a policy which it claims is the first ever standalone product to protect tourists from unsatisfactory and even non-existent holiday homes in the UK and abroad.
The policy, Villa Rental Protection, was devised in conjunction with travel insurance and schemes specialist brokers, PJ Hayman & Company, and covers consumers for financial loss if a holiday cottage in the UK or villa abroad is unfit for occupation through lack of essential facilities such as power or poor
