Autonet in product deal with Direct Group

Broker chooses Doncaster firm to operate accidental death insurance product.

Direct Group has been appointed by Autonet to take over the provision of its accidental death insurance product.

Stuart Pendleton, distribution services director for Doncaster-based Direct Group, explained that it would be provided free of charge to Autonet motor insurance customers for the first 3 months with customers having the option to continue the cover up to the age of 81 for a payment of £3.00 per month. The product launched in early July 2014.
