Autonet embarks on 50-strong recruitment drive

Staffordshire-based broker also targeting further investment in technology this year.

Autonet Insurance is looking to recruit for 51 positions this quarter in a bid to expand its offering.

The Staffordshire-based broker - which currently specialises in van and car insurance - is looking to branch out into household and small commercial products.

HR director Penny Wardale said that the broker would recruit based on applicants' "attitude and behaviour" and "from all sorts of backgrounds".

Broking profits fall at Saga

Underlying profit before tax in Saga’s insurance broking arm fell to £39.8m for the year ended 31 January 2024, compared with £71.5m in the previous period.
