FCA issues clone broker warning
The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) has issued a warning against dealing with KBP Insurance Service Limited as it is not authorised to carry out regulated activities in the UK.
The FCA highlighted that the firm was a clone of FCA authorised firms and stressed that neither K B P Insurance Service nor KBP Financial Limited had any "association whatsoever" with the cloned firm.
According to the watchdog, the clone firm, also known as KBP Financial Services Limited, may be targeting UK customers.
The FCA listed its regulatory activities as, among other things, advising on investments and dealing and arranging deals in investments.
