UK General joins Managing General Agents' Association

UK General Insurance has become a member of the Managing General Agents' Association (MGAA).

The Leeds-based specialist insurer said the decision reflected the "growing importance" of the sector within UK insurance, as well as the MGAA's ability to play a useful role in the sharing of best practice. 

Speaking about the move, UK General CEO Peter Hubbard said: "We are the UK's largest specialist MGA, and a market leader in the schemes market and other specialist lines - I look forward to UK General making a significant contribution to the MGAA's agenda.

Brokers upbeat on 2024 growth – Aviva

Brokers are more optimistic about growth in the coming year than they have been since before 2020, according to Aviva, with 83% expecting their business to grow compared to 76% last year.
