Autonet promotes two directors

Autonet Insurance has promoted Chris Jolley to director of trading and Stuart Scott to director of distribution.

Mr Jolley joined the independent van insurance broker as a sales advisor over 10 years ago and has had various roles throughout the business including working closely with insurer partners on rates.

He commented: "I am extremely happy to be appointed to this new role, it's great that Autonet recognises that its insurer partners and the relationships it has built over the years are a key driver behind the success of the company and I look forward to helping drive this forward."

Broking profits fall at Saga

Underlying profit before tax in Saga’s insurance broking arm fell to £39.8m for the year ended 31 January 2024, compared with £71.5m in the previous period.
