Bluefin "took some medicine" to aid broker partner division
Bluefin Insurance Group "took some medication" in 2011 and has seen its broker partner division emerge stronger this year.
It came after the network offering saw its divisional contribution plummet by 46.6% during 2011 and revenue drop by 12.8% to £3.6m compared to 2010.
However, chief executive Stuart Reid insisted that the measures taken in 2011 have seen the amount previously lost already "more than more up by this year".
"It was particularly tough so we took some medication and completely reengineered the business last year," explained Mr Reid.
