Aviva aims to please brokers with streamlined systems

Aviva has selected Guidewire PolicyCenter as its new underwriting and policy administration system, and Guidewire ClaimCenter as its new claims management system for its core UK commercial lines business.

The insurer said replacing its existing claims and policy systems with one platform would streamline its decision making process, giving brokers the benefit of clearer and quicker decisions.

Malcolm Simpkin, UK general insurance CIO, at Aviva, said: “Finding the right partner to help us consolidate our existing underwriting, policy administration, and claims systems played a significant role in the selection process.
