
AIG to use its brand name once more

The group - which received $182bn in government bailouts during the financial crisis - will go back to using the name it had dropped in favour of Chartis for its international property and casualty business, according to Reuters.
Chief executive Bob Benmosche described the "increasingly positive sentiment" toward AIG as a "powerful asset" in a memo to staff, which was later obtained by the news agency.
