MGAA continues with recruitment drive

The chairman of the Managing General Agents’ Association (MGAA) steering committee has vowed to continue recruiting members following the association’s launch last week.

The MGAA, a non-profit making organisation currently has 40 member MGAs, underwriting around £1.25bn GWPs, as well as 23 other member companies made up of insurers and other “supplier companies”.

Reg Brown, chairman of the MGAA’s steering committee, said: “We need to continue recruitment. There are a lot of people waiting on the sidelines to see how things go before they join us.
