Chaucer appoints Ball to Lloyd's property syndicate

Chaucer has appointed Simon Ball as international property treaty underwriter within Chaucer Syndicate 1084’s property division.

With an underwriting career spanning over 20 years, Mr Ball has knowledge gained from working in both the Lloyd's and Bermudian markets.

Mr Ball will specialise in writing catastrophe XOL (excess of loss), risk XOL, pro rata and retro (all international and all treaty) risks.

Mr Ball was previously vice president for international non-marine property treaty at Endurance Specialty Insurance in Bermuda.
