Network Spotlight day nine: Network members aren't independent, says Wood

Mark Wood UKGI

Mark Wood, managing director at UKGI, claims in his interview for Network Spotlight that many brokers have seen through networks.

"They don't actually deliver what it is on the tin. In terms of independence they [brokers] generally aren't independent when they join a network, they have to place business with the preferred partners of that network. In terms of business support services brokers really want subject matter experts."

In the mystery questions at the end of the video he explains why the network is not at risk of being too boutique to survive a hardening market.
