Rural responds to Towergate departures
Rural Insurance has reacted to Towergate’s confirmation that it had poached four of its senior members of staff.
Rural said it had restructured its management team which now includes Simon Stevens (managing director), Mike Ellis (chief operations officer) and Dean Robertson (head of sales and marketing).
Mr Ellis has 20 years underwriting and insurance broking experience, having held underwriting manager positions at Axa and UK General before moving to Rural Insurance. He will oversee widening Rural's underwriting footprint over coming months as they launch new products.
