New insurance MD for Barclays
Barclays has appointed Kieran Murphy to the role of managing director of Barclays Insurance for the bank's UK retail business.
Mr Murphy has been promoted from within Barclays, where he was managing director of Barclays Insurance Dublin. His new role is focused on delivering accessible and innovative personal protection and insurance products that meet the needs of Barclays retail customers.
"Barclays has some real strengths - like our great customer base, our retail footprint and our key partnerships - and for us the challenge is to play to these strengths and continue driving market share," said Mr Murphy.
